I used to travel all over my home state of Maine as well as venture well into New Hampshire to provide fitness equipment diagnostic, and repair services. In addition, I get calls and emails from all over the country asking for help.

This year due to COVID-19 as well as several other reasons I decided to limit my services to Southern Maine (York and Cumberland Counties). That decision left a lot of people in Maine and New Hampshire without a service provider since I was the only one in the area.

To help resolve this issue I have decided to offer online consultation, diagnostic, and repair help services Nationwide.

If you are somewhat handy with some basic hand tools, I can assist you remotely in diagnosing your issue or help you with maintenance. If your equipment needs parts I can price the parts and get them ordered for you. When they arrive I can assist with the installation if you would like.

This all can be done via Facetime (iPhone) or Google Duo (Android) on your mobile phone. You schedule your own appointment  HERE. All Remote Diagnostic Service Calls, Remote Installation Help are paid for online at the time of scheduling.

If any parts are needed I would send you a subsequent invoice to your email that you would submit before any parts would be ordered.

I can now help you regardless of COVID-19 issues, and regardless of where you live in the USA.

Up to 30 minutes of remote diagnostic assistance and consultation. – $25.00

Up to a full hour to assist you with any parts installation or servicing. – $45.00

You can order any parts through me and have them shipped directly to you regardless if you use my remote services or not. Simply email or text me the model number and the serial number of the fitness equipment, and I will get right back to you with the price, including shipping. Below are the brands that I offer parts service for in alphabetical order:

Typically you will only need a #2 Phillips screwdriver and the appropriate sized Allen wrench (hex key) for walking belt installation and/or adjustment. More than likely your treadmill came with this Allen wrench.  For most ICON Fitness treadmills this is a 3/16″ or 7/32″. For most Johnson Fitness Treadmills this is 6 mm or 8 mm. Landice Treadmills use a 9/16″socket wrench. You should also have at least one application (1 ounce or 30 mm) of lube on hand to be able to lubricate your belt and deck. This is typically 100% pure silicone oil.

If the treadmill is not running you will most likely need a DC power source and two test wires to be able to test the drive motor,  This can often be just an 18V battery from a cordless drill.

More advanced diagnostics can be performed with a multimeter.  One that can read DC amps can be very useful in determining amp draw when the treadmill is in use.

ICON Fitness brands: NordicTrack, ProForm, Epic, Golds Gym, Health Rider, Hidden Grove, Image, Lifestyler, Reebok, Weider, and Weslo.

Johnson Fitness brands: Matrix, Vision Fitness, Horizon Fitness, Bowflex, SportsArt. Livestrong, LifeSpan, and AFG.
